Such a great initiative, cutting through language barriers, IVRs and endless tree menus, hold music that seems specifically chosen to sound terrible through a phone speaker, and deftly sidestepping "mAyBe a cHaTbOt cOuLd dO It?" - turns out if you can get humans together in a room, consumers are better off:

Taking a break from my normal Link-din content, to bring you a ringing endorsement: Shortly after the pandemic forced us all inside in early 2020, a group fitness thing I was doing through Infoxchange transitioned to an online model. 4 years later I'm still doing it twice a week.

The group itself has shrunk a bit though, so Tia is looking to take on some more clients. Sessions at the moment are on Google Meet, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7am AET for 1 hour. Tijana (Tia) Vasiljevic is a super empathetic coach, but also one who will push you as much as you need towards whatever goal you have, and will do so with whatever equipment you happen to have lying around (while also being a good source of advice for buying worthwhile stuff). Tia works with everyone from people trying to get up and going for the first time, to people recovering from injury, to folks that can sling frankly terrifying amounts of weight around with ease. I'd say after 3+ years of doing it, she's pretty damn good at delivering safe, effective, and highly personalised coaching online. For me personally it's been a huge support for my mental health, and the only time I've managed to stick to a program for any length of time (can't beat that external accountability factor). It's also been great for my general strength and mobility, and for overcoming 20+ years of sit at desk.

If anyone's interested you can DM me for details. Tia's currently offering a 90min 1-1 induction session for $140, to help you figure out what your specific issues and aspirations are. If you live in the timezone (or are happy being awake at that time), then highly worth it I reckon.
