In addition to his role at Moving Brands, Ben co-founded Madefire in 2011, a pioneering company focused on creator-first storytelling. Madefire revolutionized the digital reading experience through its open publishing platform designed for Motion Books—an interactive form of storytelling optimized for mobile devices, tablets, and emerging technology landscapes, such as virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR). Ben's commitment to creativity and innovation helped Madefire to be recognized as the best-rated reading app in the Apple App Store, winning the prestigious 'Best of App Store' award.
During his time at Madefire, the platform amassed over 40,000 stories, setting a new precedent in the world of digital comics. Ben led content development at Madefire Studios, overseeing the publication of 30 original series created with legendary industry figures such as Liam Sharp, Dave Gibbons, and Bill Sienkiewicz.
