Highlights
Some good news from Thailand - small farmers feed the world and I believe our new food system will be built on more direct relationships to consumers, with farmers moving further up into the value chain.
The Sustainable Agriculture Foundation and their network of farmers has been an inspiration for my career. Proud that their work to support urban food security is expanding during this crisis.
Migrant farmworkers are the backbone of agricultural supply chains. Without them, our food system will come apart. I wanted to share resources for us to support farmworkers when they need it most. Please consider supporting our farmworkers here:

"Everyone is going to the supermarket and trying to buy healthy food to take care of themselves while they’re sheltering at home. That food is brought to you by agricultural workers. If we begin to get sick and have this disease propagate as it has in other communities, there won’t be anyone to pick those fruits and vegetables." - Lupe Gonzalo, CIW
If you or your company/organization is interested in sponsorship of The Foundation for Farmworkers -https://lnkd.in/ekhm4sh - Our annual fundraiser will be held this October in Washington, DC - Please contact me for more information
