Bertram Peterson is a sustainability engineer with a passion for renewable energy and cycling. He possesses a bachelor's degree in sustainability engineering from Tec de Monterrey, a graduate degree in energy management from EGADE Business School, and a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Technology from TU Delft, Netherlands.

With over 8 years of experience in designing, installing, and developing distributed solar and storage projects across 8 countries, Bertram is an expert in the field. He teaches renewable energy and decarbonization at Tec de Monterrey and serves as a board member on various energy committees, including Index's energy committee, representing Baja's industrial sector.

Bertram co-founded Aspen Energy, a company focusing on solar microgrid development. He collaborates with activists and local leaders to drive the energy transition in the BC peninsula. His background includes research internships at top institutions like MIT and a professional tenure at Galt Energy, Envolta, and Solar Energy International.
