Do performance gremlins ever sneak into your coaching, whispering that you have to get it "right," your questions aren't "powerful" enough, or you better be "delivering value"?
If that resonates, then you'll want to join me at ICF Converge 2023 for my breakout session. We'll be exploring how to release a performance mindset and stay grounded in presence and partnership. This is one of my favorite coaching topics, and I'd love for you to come learn with me!

Let's talk about one of the most vexing parts of the coaching partnership for new coaches: establishing the agreement.
What was or is most challenging for you about getting a clear agreement with a client at the start of a coaching session?
Some "Other" options that I couldn't include because I could only have four poll answer choices:
- Knowing when the agreement is "settled"
- Interrupting or focusing a talkative client
- How to use a person-not-problem approach when they bring a very concrete problem-solving topic
I'm writing an article sharing some tips and mindset shifts around agreement setting, and I'd love to have your input and insights. Please share your challenges and if you have them, your responses to those challenges!
