Beth Zotter

Technologist and Ocean Entrepreneur - CEO at Trophic

Beth Zotter is the cofounder and CEO of Trophic, a company dedicated to developing innovative technologies for utilizing ocean-farmed seaweeds as a highly sustainable and scalable protein source.

She holds an M.S. in Energy and Resources from the University of California, Berkeley, a B.A. in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard University, and has studied at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

Prior to her role at Trophic, Beth served as the Berkeley Lab PI at Cyclotron Road and ran Zotter Clean Energy Consulting. Additionally, she has held positions such as Director of Research and Development, Aquaculture at Bio Architecture Lab, Associate at Energetics, Inc., Professional Athlete at Women's United Soccer Association with the New York Power, and Co-Founder of Girls See it Be it.
