Highlights
It would be impossible for me to share every time I fell in love with a book... but this one, "SOS: A Survival Guide for Women at Work", is extra special to me!
In 2022 I made a big step forward in my career, taking on a new role with Publishizer. I was excited to get started — but of course with a step like this, I had some nerves too! I couldn't have been more happy when some of the first authors I got to work with were the 4 women behind this this title; Lidewij Wiersma, Chantal Korteweg, Tessel van Willigen and Marijn Wiersma.
In the book, they share a brilliant Self, Others, System framework, cover all the tough topics, and somehow deliver with humor and relatability. As a professional woman myself, I can tell you hits the mark!
"SOS: A Survival Guide for Women at Work" is up and available for pre-order for the next 10 days. I hope you'll join me in celebrating these authors as they take an important first step in their publishing journey 🥂
Congratulations to Prime Hall and Don Tran for the release of the F.R.E.E. Your Mind Guidebook!!! These guys are a huge inspiration and I love so much about this book.
It's a great mix of both practical guidance and helpful motivation. I've personally taken a lot from it — especially around the concept of FLOW. Prime and Don say that flow is: the in-between of boredom and panic/balance of challenge and skill. They say it's when discipline meets surrender. I know I am not alone as I face the tension of these things as I work to grow and improve. This book helps.
