Betsy Gell holds a B.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing from Skidmore College and pursued further studies in English Literature at Advanced Studies in England.

Throughout her career, Betsy has held key positions, including Chief Philanthropy Officer at Free + Fair Litigation Group, Associate Vice President of Development, Senior Director of Development, Director of Major Gifts, and Major Gift Officer at Sandy Hook Promise.

Prior roles include Director of Alumni Relations at King Low Heywood Thomas, Associate Director of Development at Association of Hole in the Wall Camps, and roles in donor engagement at Harvard University Alumni Affairs & Development.

Betsy's early career included positions such as Major Gifts Assistant at WGBH Educational Foundation and Events Chair at John Kerry for President's Young Professionals Volunteer Leadership Board.
