Highlights
Inching closer to my personal goal of earning a Black Belt in Taekwondo, a 10 year journey. 🥋 To achieve important goals in our lives it most often takes time, perseverance, commitment to self and the emotional fuel to believe that we can do it.
Yesterday at Rahn's Black Belt Academy ( Shane Rahn), I tested for and was presented with the last belt needed before black. Normally, the belt would come weeks later after testing, in my case I FAILED 😞 my last test so this one was patiently waiting for me.
Failure is part of the process. I don't like to fail. It makes me mad. 😡 It makes me want to give up. I'm embarrassed in front of my peers, even the 10 year olds that have long passed me in this process.
This time I was (almost) 100% sure I was going to break my boards. I came in with the mindset that I was going to do it. 💪 I chose my board holders carefully, set the boards up exactly as they needed to be and just gave it my all when it was my turn. Just as I had practiced. You see I have been working on my "board breaking system", the exact system I would need to be successful.
Now back to work this morning and working on a sales system. Failure is part of the process. I don't like to fail. It makes me mad! 😡
You see, the same process in life plays out in our business. Whether you are building a marketing system, a hiring system or leadership mindset system, keep your goal crystal clear with the absolute resolution that you will get there and guess what? You will!
It might take a bit longer than you thought, you will likely need to change things up, try new ways of taking action, you will get frustrated and maybe even mad at the amount of effort it is taking up in your life. If you want it bad enough and are willing to put in the work, you will get there, one beautifully crafted system at a time.
You've got this.
Beverlee 😉
🙏🏻 And thank you to my coach, Master Shane Rahn for standing beside me, every step of the way!

The same ICF Core Competencies are applied when coaching small business owners, multibillion dollar CEO's or your mom. If you are an ICF coach, consider that 95% of all businesses in the world are "small", that they employ at least 70% of the worlds workforce ... AND they hire coaches.
Happy to spend some time with you on how to be better prepared to coach the small business owners in your world: https://lnkd.in/gfBRwQyp
