Biju Jacob is an experienced leader in innovation strategy, research infrastructure, and start-up advisory with a background in medical research and management.

With over a decade of experience in early-stage discovery, clinical research, and regulatory affairs, Biju has worked in large organizations and start-ups, bringing deep expertise in medical research and management.

Academically trained as a medical geneticist, Biju is also a serial entrepreneur with a passion for advising biomedical and healthcare startups in conceptualizing, building, and running new ventures through various renowned organizations like Starthealth-Unitus Seed Fund, Axilor Ventures, and CAMTech-Massachusetts General Hospital.

Biju Jacob has received multiple prestigious awards for his work, including the BIRAC Innovation Award in 2014, the ISBA National Award for Entrepreneurship in 2010, and the CV Raman Young Scientist Award in 2007.

His educational background includes a Fellow in Public Health from the Royal Society of Public Health, Executive Management, Strategy, and Innovation studies from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) in Human/Medical Genetics from Bangalore University, and a Master's degree in Biotechnology, also from Bangalore University.

Throughout his career, Biju has held key positions in various organizations, such as Country Director at Health Innovation Exchange - HIEx, Portfolio and Investment at Social Alpha, Co-Founder at Healium Digital Healthcare, Entrepreneur In Residence at NH_Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Center, Group Head of Clinical Research & Healthcare Innovations at Narayana Health, and CEO & Scientific Lead (IVD) at CATALYZ.
