Bill Paulos

Retired from Kraft Foods / Oscar Mayer

Bill Paulos is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience in the Meat Industry, primarily with Oscar Mayer Foods, Inc. He holds a B.S. degree in Food Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Starting his career in Quality Assurance at a pork processing plant, Bill later transitioned to various roles within Operations, including Night Superintendent and Business Unit Manager at different departments. He then joined Amour Foods Technical Services Group before returning to Oscar Mayer in the R&D Department where he led the New Products Development Team. Throughout his career, he was awarded seven patents for his work on pork raw material color improvement and product initiatives. Bill excelled in procurement roles and was eventually promoted to Senior Director overseeing the meat procurement team at Kraft/Oscar Mayer. One of his notable achievements was developing the first Animal Welfare program for Oscar Mayer. Post-retirement, he founded JSK Consulting Services to offer his expertise to the food industry.
