Bill Szafranski embarked on a career journey at Bloomberg in 1992, enticed by the rapid growth and dynamism of the company as a hub of financial learning.

Starting at Bloomberg's Asia offices, Bill transitioned to customer support and sales roles, engaging with brilliant minds in the financial industry, contributing to Bloomberg's expansion, and gaining invaluable insight into the intricacies of finance and markets.

Progressing within the company, Bill eventually led Bloomberg's Customer Service Desk globally, fostering relationships with colleagues, clients, and even engaging directly with the company's founder, Mike Bloomberg, recognizing the vital role of customer service.

Transitioning to managing a Software Quality Assurance group at Bloomberg, Bill honed his expertise in software testing and gained a deeper understanding of Bloomberg's Trading System Products.

Currently, as a manager in Bloomberg's Data division, Bill spearheads various projects at the forefront of Big Data, Machine Learning, Alternative Data, and more, collaborating with top minds within and beyond Bloomberg to explore innovative concepts such as IoT, Satellite Imagery, Data Science, and Data Creation.
