Highlights

Hi friends and colleagues,  After an amazing and transformative 10 years at LinkedIn, I’m ready to try something new.

I’m looking to apply my data science expertise in a fractional, consulting, part-time, contract, or freelance setting. I’d appreciate your introductions and connections to anyone you think I should talk to. I’m not interested in full-time roles at this point. I’m located in San Francisco but open to working remotely anywhere across the US. Sliding scale available for a good cause.

My core competencies span a wide range of data analytics and data science topics:

  • data foundations and cleaning/quality
  • metric/KPI development
  • data analysis of all kinds
  • A/B testing/experimentation and understanding/measuring causality more generally
  • understanding and optimizing ranking/recommender systems
  • evaluating the outputs and performance of generative AI products
  • building great data science teams that do all of the above.

I get excited about using data to make better decisions, across a wide variety of contexts. My prior work has spanned tech, bioscience, and the arts, so I’m quite open in terms of industries where my contributions could make a meaningful impact.

Thanks for thinking of me and suggesting people I should talk to.
