Highlights
It’s really nice to have met and worked with an amazing colleague and person this week and then come across their LinkedIn profile that has absolutely nothing in it except maybe their name.
No past history, no profile, no current and past employer, no certifications, no link to website, nothing.
I love that as people, we find ways of connecting with each other despite incumbent platforms. And through those (different) ways of connecting, we thrive because those ways are so uncomplicated that a child could be included.
I love that when we die, we die as full human beings along with the relationships and memories of people we worked, befriended, cried, laughed and spent time with.
LinkedIn, other digital services, AI, technology, etc will not know nor care of all this - nor should they.
The mindblowingness of quantum physics...
And the trip I took to CERN's visitor centre a not long ago makes my mind wander even further in fascination of this weirdness...
We - everything - is made of energy, not objects. Everything about energy is relational, not fixed. Nothing is objective.
"Quantum Wierdness: The Evidence That Everything is Energy:
The solar-system picture of electrons and protons as tiny, solid, planet-like structures whizzing around a larger interior neutron in an atom was dead wrong.
Electrons, muons, tauons, quarks, and gluons have no internal structure and no physical size, meaning that they are entirely illusory or put another way, made up of energy.
They are zero-dimensional and more like events than things."
