I posted a short article that describes my imminent sabbatical (I'll be fully offline from 17-JAN through 18-APR-2022), and expresses my gratitude to my colleagues Vigdis Bronder and Ann Armstrong for making this possible. I also take the opportunity to talk about my recent "Ice Mile" swim. With the knowledge that our BLPC clients are in highly competent hands, I'm disconnecting completely for the next 90 days. See you in April!

Casually reading the New York Times today, was intrigued to see an article on standards, and then flabbergasted to see a whole paragraph discussing my 2010 paper! I love the whole NYT piece. Standards are fascinating.
