It’s not all rock and roll my career… as I sit on the floor waiting for my Ryanair Flight from Dublin home!

Motivational. Leader.

It’s funny because that’s a name I made up for myself a few months back. I think it best sums up what I do now, combining my business and team building, life experience with over a decade of motivational speaking at the highest level.

My intent?

To help others become motivational leaders themselves.

In just short of 20 years of being on business I’ve only met a handful of people who I would consider true and natural motivational leaders, those who inspire and motivate waaaayy beyond the norm.

They share a vision, and people follow because they want in and a piece of the promised adventure.

ML’s do the shit you just wouldn’t expect a “boss” to do.

Their sleeves are up before they ask anyone else to roll up theirs.

They lead not being the “boss” or having the title but sharing a mission others want to join.

They lead by owning all the failures, the success, that’s on the entire team.

Garrett Ghee who invited me over to his Plant isn’t really jazz hands, like me.

He’s understated and stealth like Gary Turner exact same approach to another motivational. Leader.

They don't talk about doing it… it just gets done. No ticker tape parade is needed.

Unusual in today's social media world.

One of the exercises during today's session was aimed at anonymously revealing flaws a leader may have, but I saw results I’ve never quite seen before.

It anonymously revealed pretty much the exact opposite. No one can ever be perfect, but in my game this as near as dammit.

Breedon Group plc, get your cloning machine out.

He lives and breathes Breedon and has helped build a team culture that all world-class organisations strive for.

Lads, If you want to draw up a blueprint and make a mould for the nigh-on perfect “motivational leader,” we’ve just found it.

Thank you, G and your team, for looking after me for the last 36 hours.

You all should be so proud of what you have all achieved. Culture is the glue that holds a team together.

What you have created is a super glue of team cohesion.

Second to none.

Impressive stuff, I should be paying you!

Missing you and your team already.

Right boarding! 🇮🇪 🛫 🇬🇧

As we get older, wisdom replaces speed. It’s about getting things right, even if that means not right now.

I’m working on a project to create a million-pound business with zero staff.

I’ve been told it’s impossible.

Realistically, it won’t quite happen this year.

And that’s okay.

The old Brad would have put myself under excessive pressure to make it happen.

and I would have, made it happen and put myself under excessive pressure and maybe break something or someone in the process.

Now, as I’m older, I’ve become more strategic, picking my shots with a more solid plan.

I know, know, the route i need to take to make it happen, based on my experience of business building, creativity and team building first time around.

In 2006, I launched 4Networking with no investment, while in £25,000 in personal debt. 4N was a unique concept in business networking that was initially LOLLED at, and I was called mad by the Cufflink and Toby Jug networking brigade.

Four years later, the concept was talked about as genius.

68,000 real-life events in the UK later, I think it’s fair to say it worked.

Now, I’ve clocked another wide-open gap that no one else seems to have sussed this time in team building.

Innovation starts with a daft idea that people laugh and scoff at, and I’m there again.

I’m totally good with it. My advice, only listen to the opinions of the people who matter.

Watch what we do next.

I got to ask, what’s your next big plan?

Right. Boarding.

I got an overseas TeamMaker event to run 🛫

Remember, it’s only a daft idea if it doesn’t work.
