The Earth is pretty small. Someone recently told me my ability to run into people randomly was unique so I thought I’d share a few of those stories over the coming days.
In 2019 just before the world changed I participated in an interesting experience called the Influencer’s Dinner, thanks to Amanda V. Duncan making the connection. I met some really fascinating people from around Seattle while making each other dinner. Fast forward and over this new year we’re walking the dog near our cabin in Glacier, WA in the snow, with face coverings. From 50 feet away we hear “this is weird but is your name Brad?” Katy Roberts exclaims, laughing, “uuugh I can’t walk down the street of a 3rd world country let alone the wilderness without someone saying that to him” and I get to say hello to Leigh McMillan again. I don’t know how she knew it was me, but it was a rare moment for the past 22 months of semi-isolation. Thanks for saying hi Leigh! Serendipity matters!
