Brandy Ellis

Brandy Ellis is the Research Services Librarian at the University of Georgia School of Law's Alexander Campbell King Law Library. In this role, she supports faculty research, teaches various legal research courses (including first-year, advanced, and specialized topics), provides legal reference services, and is part of the library's leadership team.12

Ellis holds a Bachelor of Arts from Antioch College, a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Fordham University School of Law, and a Master of Library and Information Science with a certificate in law librarianship from the University of Washington. She is also a member of the New York Bar.1

Before joining UGA, Ellis worked as a research librarian and head of access services at Notre Dame’s Kresge Law Library. Earlier in her career, she practiced law as an associate at Cooley LLP in New York City and Fenwick & West in Seattle. Additionally, she has experience as a judicial intern for Judge Ronald L. Ellis in the Southern District of New York and as part of Samsung Electronics' Patent Litigation Team in South Korea during law school.1
