Highlights
I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Master of Advertising Effectiveness from Master of Advertising Effectiveness!
This is the culmination of a journey that started with a James Hurman LinkedIn post that drew me deeper into the world of Future Demand, Tracksuit and brand metrics, and advertising effectiveness as well as to people like Les Binet & Peter Field, Byron Sharp, Mark Ritson, and others.
But even more so, it's the beginning of a bigger journey as charity: water launches a long-term brand campaign to help fuel Future Demand and our ambitious growth targets to help provide clean water to millions more people and make sure it keeps flowing for even millions more.
I'll be sharing more about this as we go but if you're going to NextAfter's #niosummit, I have a session, "The Quest For Future Demand: How Investing In Your Brand Today Unlocks Greater Growth Tomorrow", where I'll be sharing a lot of what I've learned from those folks and this course, how it applies to our strategy at charity: water, and some concepts other nonprofits and brands can use in theirs.
Want to be a part of the newest (and possibly biggest...) charity: water initiative? We're looking for someone to manage The Experience Lab in Franklin, TN. You must be based in Nashville or willing to move (on your own dime) and retail, hospitality, and/or event experience is critical. If you don’t have it I’m not saying you shouldn’t apply but… it's gonna be tough.
You can learn more and apply here: https://lnkd.in/gqqPNPMD
Wait, retail? A lab? Franklin? Yes. More to come but we’re building a first-of-its-kind space that will educate visitors young and old about the water crisis through immersive storytelling, dynamic technology, and interactive exhibits and inspire and invite them to be part of the solution.
This isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s never really been done. You’ll report to me (may not be a selling point I realize) and, spoiler alert, I’ve never done this. But hopefully, the unknown, the new, and the opportunity excites you. And you won't be alone. You'll help build up The Experience Lab team while also being on the wider Marketing & Growth team. So you'll get to work with some of the most brilliant and creative folks around (who also happen to be super fun and incredibly kind).
Not enough? We pay well, have cool benefits — bonus options through The Pool, 'You Do You' perks, and unlimited time off — and crush karaoke.
Still not enough? How about resting your pretty little head on your pillow each night knowing you're helping change the trajectory of our world one person at a time by helping provide life’s most basic need… clean water.
Oh, not a retail person but still in Nashville you say? Well, we’re looking for a video editor too. More here: https://lnkd.in/ggUh_GD6.
Oh, not a retail or video person but still in Nashville you say? Well, we're also looking for a Develop Operations Associate. More here: https://lnkd.in/g8qEP6y4.
Oh, not a Nashville person you say? Well, our Product team is also looking for a Website Manager who will work very closely with our Marketing & Growth team. More here: https://lnkd.in/gAeZuTiN.
And, in case it helps (and I don't know why it would), look at how many hashtags we can use to help promote this post and opportunity. #nashville #retail #nonprofit #work #areyoustillreadingthis #philanthropy #jobs #careers #hiring #jobsearch #jobopening #dothesethingswork
