Brand Jones holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Biology from Spelman College, showcasing a strong academic foundation.

Throughout Brande Jones's career, she has held various roles in educational institutions, including serving as a Faculty member at Global Online Academy and as an AP Computer Science Principles Development Committee Member at The College Board.

Brande Jones has been actively involved in science education, having worked as a Science Educator at Woodward Academy and as an Exam Leader, Question Leader, Table Leader, and Reader for AP Computer Science Principles at ETS.
