We know that if we are truly going to be the alternative for all facets of traditional media in each local market, we must deliver an effective media product to sports fans when it matters most.

Often times, in sports, when it matters most is when news breaks. To fulfill this need for sports fans, we offer our Emergency Show product, where a producer puts the stream together immediately and our talent opens their laptops and goes live from where ever they are at that moment.

When Kevin Durant was traded to the Suns in February, our Suns squad was live moments after, starting their Emergency Show at midnight! That show brought in an audience of 40,000.

A few weeks ago, the Bears traded the #1 overall pick at 4:25pm and by 4:28pm, we were live, breaking it down for Bears fans. This 30-minute live show reached an audience size of 74,000.

These aren't huge numbers for the national media standard but when you are talking about live content that is made on-the-spot for a specific team community, it's substantial.

Now imagine what this looks like at scale when this opportunity exists for every team community in the country.

I just love this example because it really shows how impactful the digital media tool kit can be.
