Brendon Mizener is a diligent student passionate about researching music cognition, merging artistic and analytical approaches in his work. With a keen interest in data analysis, he aspires to leverage his varied expertise in data analytics, statistics, cognition, education, and music to innovate creative solutions to intriguing challenges.

Brendon holds a Master of Music in Percussion Performance from The University of New Mexico, a Bachelor of Music Education with a Percussion Concentration from Northwestern State University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cognition and Neuroscience at The University of Texas at Dallas.

His professional engagements included roles as a Research and Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Dallas, Band Director at Old Mill Senior High School, Graduate Assistant at the University of New Mexico, Private Lessons Instructor in his own business, and Percussion Instructor/Design Staff at Volcano Vista High School.
