Brian Cavanaugh, AIA NCARB, born in 1969 in Portland, Oregon, is an accomplished architect with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design.

With over 28 years of experience, Brian is a committed architect known for his exceptional design skills, community leadership, and belief in the value of architecture for the public good.

Brian has been an instructor at various universities and holds architectural licenses in California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. He is a member of AIA and AIBC, and certified by NCARB.

Throughout his career, Brian has received numerous awards, including the prestigious national AIA Young Architects Award in 2012.

He has held significant roles in various organizations such as Huitt-Zollars, Inc., ARCHITECTURE BUILDING CULTURE, Otak, Works Progress Architecture, AIA Portland, and The Center for Architecture.

Brian has also been involved in academia, serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Oregon and participating in community boards like the Seattle Design Review Board and Bike Works.
