Brian Cox is a Systems Engineer at Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), a renowned space organization at the forefront of interplanetary exploration and earth remote sensing. At JPL, he has contributed to the proposal, design, and verification of intricate missions. Currently, Brian is engaged in utilizing Model Based System Engineering in a flagship spacecraft mission to Europa, a moon of Jupiter. Brian's past endeavors involved collaborating with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power on Smart Grid technology focusing on Cyber Security and Model Based Engineering. His expertise spans ground support equipment, software, avionics, and cost estimation, gained through diverse roles encompassing engineering and project management. Prior to JPL, Brian was a Design Engineer at Walt Disney Imagineering, where he contributed to the successful and timely opening of EPCOT and Tokyo Disneyland theme parks amid rigorous schedules and intricate designs. He is skilled at melding engineering acumen and vast experience to drive project success.
