Too cool not to share right away. The Grafana Labs MQTT Plugin was updated today (thanks Jay Clifford) and Grafana Cloud now supports realtime streaming MQTT data with full support for MQTT wildcards (+ and #) and Grafana variables. It was a 10 minute test to set up a little relay from Mockaroo to a HiveMQ Cloud Broker (Free or Starter will work), and then to configure a top level subscription to all topics on that broker. Took a quick screencap, can't imagine the distance that data must be traveling in just a second. I'd bet most of the latency is in the UI libraries, see if you can figure out why!
Please check this out and let me know what you think - have been chatting with Jay about getting the band back together and doing a joint webinar to share this goodness!
I'm looking for a world-class product and technology advocate who's excited to build a community around everything #IoT, #MQTT, and beyond! I believe we can do something unique and important here to create opportunities for EVERYONE and ANYONE who's passionate about #communication #data, #digitaltransformation, #opensourcesoftware and a bunch of other critical topics that are top of mind right now across industries and technologies. Wanna take a ride? 😁 🚀 🛰
