Brian Metcalf

Assistant Professor-Educator of Psychology at University of Cincinnati

Brian Metcalf is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in psychological research and university-level teaching.

He has been actively involved in psychological research since 1987 and has been teaching various psychology courses at the university level since 1993.

Brian completed his Ph.D. in Biopsychology from the University of Georgia in 1999 and has a strong background in statistics, research methods, and various other specialized fields within psychology.

During his tenure at Morris Brown College, from 1996 to 2000, Brian conducted psychopharmacological research and taught students.

Brian Metcalf currently holds the position of Associate Professor at Hawaii Pacific University, a role he has been dedicated to since August 2000.

His specialties include university-level instruction in psychology, covering a wide range of subjects such as introductory courses, statistics, research methods, physiological psychology, history & systems, and social psychology.

Throughout his academic journey, Brian has studied Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for his B.S., followed by pursuing an M.S. in Psychology specializing in Biopsychology, and ultimately earning his Ph.D. in Biopsychology, which is now known as Neuroscience, from The University of Georgia.

His previous roles include serving as an Assistant Professor-Educator of Psychology at the University of Cincinnati, Associate Professor of Psychology at Hawaii Pacific University, and a Post-Doctoral Research Associate/Adjunct Instructor at Morris Brown College.
