✨”Be Cheerful, Strive to be happy”✨ The Desiderata is an important literary work in my life and I have verses from it stickered to my skydiving helmet, car, computer, lunchbox etc …jk, I don’t have a lunch box but if i did, it would be on it. Hah
Written in the 1920’s it still feels very relevant today. Are there any lines or verses that resonate with you? If so, I’d love to know. Take a Deep Breath. Peace to all my friends, colleagues and strangers :)
Remember, the most important decision you can make today is to be in a good mood.

Decided to post this to LinkedIn as well…
I once read the question “What If You Only Wake Up With The Things You Thanked God For Yesterday?” and I wish I never had because it keeps me up at night making sure I acknowledge everyone & everything in my gratitude rolodex. Ha. I feel incredibly blessed with the work I get to focus on and the sense of security around me but I recognize there’s nothing more precious than the people in my life. As I get older, I realize the generation that raised me i.e. my parents, aunts, uncles, friends parents & mentors are aging as well. It’s hard not to notice that within this synthetically berated society like the processed foods, medicine, technology etc, the health of an individual seems more chaotic & less predictable than it was a generation or two ago 🤔 Occasionally, anxiety creeps in thinking about it but the best way to curb that unwanted emotion is also the best way to show gratitude…By action & never hesitate to express your love and reminding people of things they did or said that impacted your life. Making new memories is great but it’s also important to talk/reminisce on the good times & fond moments we were involved in with each other. I believe it won’t be money, accomplishments, or even one’s social impact that’s contemplated during our last breaths/days, but rather, it’s the shared moments with people we love that will act as our final inventory on the lives we lived. If you’re like me, many memories are sometimes forgotten or not recalled on-demand, so you enjoy when people bring up a funny moment that we were involved in so we can say “ohhh yea! that was awesome” and re add it to our personal bank of consciousness :) Maybe each of us are programmed to remember separate memories and it’s our job to remind others involved so they can re-inventory them as well. That’s likely not the case & I’m probably searching for an excuse for not being the best historian 🤷♂️ ha. Anyways, I pray for, and wish you and your family all the health, happiness and freedom during this holiday season. Make it count 🙏🏼✨🌎
