Highlights
Whether in daycare / child care centres / elementary schools, kids love story time!
It’s an activity that children always look forward to; a time to relax, listen and let their imaginations run wild.
Story time provides real and tangible benefits.
Story time promotes language development & cognitive skills.
It stimulates imagination.
It builds emotional intelligence.
And it lays the foundation for encouraging children to read on their own.
The following article from Foundations Worldwide, Inc (which talks about the importance of story time), also highlights the fact that a dedicated area for story time is very important. It supplements the overall story time experience, https://lnkd.in/eJUvejW2.
Placing an Oramood fireplace in that story time space further enhances the experience and amplifies the benefits derived.
Listening to stories over the soundtrack of a crackling fire - an experience not to be missed. (The children's faces says it all :))

Fire has magical powers!
Fire has healing powers!
There is science behind the magic!
At some point in our lives, we’ve all been hypnotized watching the dancing flames of a campfire or fireplace all the while listening to the snap, crackle and pop that goes along with it (sorry Kellogg's Rice Krispie fans…not talking about cereal today).
Did you know that there are actual health benefits of sitting and watching a fire? The benefits are even greater when watching AND listening to the crackling of the fire.
A 3 year-long study at the University of Alabama concluded with identifying the following 3 key health benefits:
1)Lower Blood Pressure. When sitting in front of a fireplace, blood pressure decreases. When watching a fire and listening to the crackling of the fire, blood pressure decreases even more.
2)Decrease in Anxiety. Watching a fire puts us into a trance-like state which slows down our breathing and helps clear our minds.
3)Increase in Desire to Socialize. Our desire to spend more time with people is increased when watching a fire. This minimizes the feelings of loneliness and isolation. Remember, we humans have been sitting and gathering around a fire, for many a year.
At Oramood, we offer a unique and innovative light and sound experience that provides you with all the health benefits of a real fire.
Oramood helps bring people together…like we’ve been doing around fires, forever and a day.
