Director, Reimagining the Civic Commons Learning Network at U3 Advisors

Bridget Marquis is an independent consultant with a background in revitalizing public spaces and fostering community connections.

She currently serves as the project manager for Reimagining the Civic Commons, a national initiative aimed at countering economic and social fragmentation in cities through the revitalization of public areas.

Bridget leads the Civic Commons Learning Network at U3 Advisors, offering learning opportunities, impact assessment, and storytelling across five demonstration cities.

Previously, she supported the Knight Foundation's Community and National Initiatives portfolio, working on projects like the Knight Cities Challenge grant program and the Reimagining the Civic Commons pilot project in Philadelphia.

Bridget's experience also includes serving as the program director for ArtPlace America, where she focused on creative placemaking grants and expanding research initiatives.

She has organized numerous learning events for organizations such as Knight Foundation, ArtPlace America, and CEOs for Cities throughout her career.

Bridget holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and undergraduate degrees in business and art from the College of William and Mary. She currently resides in Boston.
