Briony has a Bachelor of Science in Geography from King's College London, a Master of Science from Dyson School Of Design Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management from De Montfort University.

Her professional experience includes being a CIBSE Knowledge Generation Panel Member, a former Climate Services Development Manager at the National Centre for Earth Observation, a former group coordinator at Space4Climate, and a former Member of the Editorial Board at Intelligent Buildings International.

She has also been involved with Urbanistas UK and was a PhD Student at King's College London.
