The way I screamed! 🏆🍾🐾

We won a North American SABRE award (beating Marriott, X Games, Pop Tarts and PepsiCo in the sponsorship category) https://lnkd.in/g7FkTEza

This is our first big win for the Get Joy & Co. Saves Halloween campaign, and want to thank PRovoke Media and Paul Holmes for the recognition. It’s not really quantifiable, but as a marketer, you just know it when you’re working on something that is pure magic and this was a true unicorn sponsorship.

We were also a Gold Finalist in the Event Marketer Ex Awards: https://lnkd.in/ggvb4uUu

Our video entry is here, dare you not to smile! https://lnkd.in/gEjN9tVR

Proud of us and our amazing client Get Joy!! Loretta Markevics Laura Frank

Little late on this one but big thanks to PRWeek for documenting the most joyful, smile-inducing brand activation ever (seeing our startup client’s name alongside brands like Subway, Campbell’s and White Claw – a true pinch me moment!)   So grateful to work with Get Joy & Co. who brought the most major LFG energy – within 72 hours of the parade cancellation news, we were locked and loaded to save the “Met Gala of dog events” – which saw a turnout of 15,000+ New Yorkers and hundreds of dogs (amid a rainy forecast, adding further to the drama!)

From a media relations perspective, the story put this previously under-the-radar brand on the map and earned media took on a life of its own. We secured feature coverage in national tier 1s (The NYT twice in one month, Inc., People); in-depth broadcast (an ABC Localish documentary episode, in-studio and street interviews with NY1, Good Day New York, PIX11 and more); retail and marketing trades (Retail Brew, Event Marketer), hyperlocal (Gothamist, EV Grieve, Brooklyn Vegan) and lots more.    Not only that – the parade has been a clear reminder to always lead with your brand mission, and the rest will follow. Get Joy saving the parade led to a 20% increase in product sales, a 122% increase in Instagram accounts reached and a 136% increase in Instagram engagement.

I still really can’t believe this happened and will not soon forget the joy that this project brought to so many dogs and their people, especially in a moment in time where we all need a reason to smile #careerhighlight #startupcomms #newsjacking #extremenewsjacking #PRcasestudy Loretta Markevics Laura Frank
