Senet is the only fully American-owned company operating a national carrier-grade LoRaWAN network in the US. Our company has been serving US utilities for years, providing critical communications infrastructure to connect utility meters, operations monitoring, and environmental sensors.
Over the last couple of years, we have been collaborating with US Gas Utilities on new and innovative solutions for gas leak detection, automatic shut off valves, and gas safety in general. Through our work and experience with utilities over the years, we are seeing the following:

For example, to create an integrated Gas Safety solution for a major utility, Senet partnered with DeNova Detect by New Cosmos USA Inc. for leak detector sensors and Lorax Systems Inc. for automatic shut-off valves. The system detects leaks and communicates using the Senet carrier-grade network to shut off the valve until a utility employee can investigate the root cause.
· Security and grid protection are more and more crucial to US utilities. Security is a key component and strength of what Senet offers. In addition to the intrinsic LoRaWAN security features, Senet has partnered with an innovative security expert to integrate and demonstrate FIPS 140-3 validated quantum resistant end-to-end application security for LoRaWAN-based utility solutions. As a result of this innovative security integration, utilities are able to meet their stringent requirements for grid-based data stream protection.
· US ownership, US support, and a 100% US employee base are all increasingly important to our utility customers. Utilities have a heightened sensitivity to giving any aspect of control of critical communications infrastructure to foreign owned entities. Given the current events in Ukraine and Russia, there is an even a greater scrutiny of businesses with a history of significant Russian roots.
