Bruno Sorzana is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the sports industry, particularly in event management, marketing, and public affairs.

During his tenure at EURO 2016 SAS, a subsidiary of UEFA, he excelled as the Public Affairs and Host City Relations Manager, overseeing relationships with UEFA, French Public Authorities, and the 10 Host Cities.

His responsibilities included ensuring compliance with commitments, negotiating rights & obligations of the Host Cities, and managing various cross-functional projects ranging from marketing to event organization.

Prior to his role at EURO 2016 SAS, Sorzana served as the Head of Strategic Marketing at Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O), where he led marketing services and identified new business opportunities across various sports categories.

With over twelve years of experience in team leadership, he has successfully planned and executed major sports events such as Tour de France, Vuelta a España, Dakar Rally, and more, on an international scale.

Before delving into sports event management, he began his career in public service, contributing to initiatives like the repatriation of refugees, showcasing a diverse skill set.

Apart from his professional achievements, Sorzana has a notable background in sports, having competed in judo for a decade, and he also engages in academic pursuits as a lecturer and author focusing on sustainable development.
