Bryan Beal is a seasoned professional who currently serves as the Head of the Global Field CTO platform office at Snowflake, a leading Data Cloud company. His team consists of highly experienced experts in areas such as AI/ML, Data Collaboration, Data Engineering, Advanced Data Warehouse, and Security.
Prior to his role at Snowflake, Bryan led the Sales Specialist Solution Architect organization at AWS globally, overseeing Compute services including Gen AI, Artificial Intelligence, EC2, Flex Compute, Graviton, and more. He also managed projects related to Networking, AppMod, High Performance Computing, and Hybrid / Edge / Outposts.
With over 20 years of experience in Software and Cloud technologies, Bryan played a significant role at VMware where he established the Telco and Edge Cloud business unit and later managed Business Development and Solution Architect teams worldwide. Additionally, he took charge of Strategy and Solution Innovation for Telco and Edge Cloud, leading projects involving 5G, NFV, RAN, EPC, VoLTE, IMS, and Core and Edge technologies with global Telcos, SPs, and Cable companies.
Bryan's expertise extends to collaborating with the US Government and other Five Eye nations on projects related to Private 5G, Secure Connectivity, Edge Compute, Battlefield Edge, and Warfighter Communications. He is actively engaged with the National Spectrum Consortium and the Information Warfare Research Project within the US Department of Defense.
In terms of education, Bryan holds an MBA in Economics from Kennesaw State University and a BS in Economics and Physics from the University of Maryland. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor in Business and MIS at Ashland University.
Throughout his career, Bryan has held various leadership positions at renowned organizations such as Snowflake, AWS, Accenture, VMware, Brocade, Juniper Networks, Savvis, and Nokia Siemens Networks/AT&T. He has also been involved in founding and advising tech ventures.
