I have returned to school at 40!
I've always dreamed of going to business school, but never thought it possible because of the time it would take. Super grateful to have learned (ty YPO buddies!) about this 3-year program for company owners, that requires just three weeks of commitment per year.
I've always felt inadequate having to run a company of our size, without formal training in areas like strategy and leadership. The experience so far has been immensely rewarding. It has affirmed some of the things I've figured out on my own, and it also introduced me to countless lightbulb moments that I would never have discovered.
Every day, I'm surrounded by brilliant minds and exposed to different worldviews. I can't wait to bring these lessons back to my work and life as I try to return a better leader.
As we were told on day 1, no matter where you are in life, be forever a student.
