Highlights
What a great day in the Chicago Microsoft Technology Center yesterday at the co-hosted Intapp and Microsoft Legal Innovation Workshop. 🤩 With our leading #legal clients, we learned about the future of Legal #ModernWork with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Teams, Intapp Workspaces, and Intapp Walls.
Special thanks to Jason Bullock at Microsoft for a compelling Copilot presentation and demo, and Jenn Martin for sponsoring our event. And THANK YOU to all the law firm leaders who attended and helped make this a memorable day of learning and peering into the future.
Key takeaways:
▶ THE ERA OF COPILOT HAS BEGUN Embedded in the apps at the center of matter and project work – Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, Planner, and more – Copilot has the potential to alleviate the biggest headaches faced by lawyers and transform legal productivity. ▶INTAPP IS HELPING FIRMS WITH THE FINAL MILE OF COPILOT READINESS While Copilot automatically inherits your organization’s Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and privacy policies, Intapp Walls for Copilot ensures Copilot complies with your firm’s complex policies and Intapp Workspaces applies contextual meta-data and sensitivity labels to Teams data, enhancing Copilot grounding, relevance, and consistency. ▶MICROSOFT RESOURCES CAN HELP LAW FIRMS WITH COPILOT READINESS AND ADOPTION Search for (or ask me for) links to Copilot Lab, Copilot Success Kit, The Art of Prompting, Prompts to Try, and the Microsoft Copilot Community ▶INTAPP WORKSPACES IS THE GATEWAY TO MODERN LEGAL WORK IN TEAMS AND THE RESPONSIBLE USE OF COPILOT. Intapp Workspaces enables unified matter collaboration and modern work in Microsoft Teams, reducing traditional law firm inefficiencies – fragmentation of apps and processes, misuse of email, siloed data and knowledge, sequential document editing, manual client service, etc. Intapp Workspaces is a catalyst for helping law firms transition to and embrace the benefits of modern legal work technology and culture, and building the foundation for the responsible adoption of Copilot. ▶INTAPP IS HELPING LAW FIRMS WITH COPILOT READINESS in three ways: 1) addressing the final mile of Copilot security and context, 2) connecting Copilot to the adoption of legal modern work, and 3) providing a phased roadmap for responsible Copilot adoption. ▶COPILOT HAS ACCELERATED THE PACE OF CHANGE IN LAW FIRMS The increasing pace of Copilot and AI innovation requires an ongoing dialogue and deeper, collaborative partnerships between clients and solution providers.
