Engineer, Building Optimization Practice at HEAPY

Bryan Kinch is a dedicated Energy and Sustainability professional with a background in Retro-Commissioning (RCx) Incentive Programs. Currently serving as an RCx Incentive Program Manager at AES Indiana, Bryan assists building owners in identifying opportunities to save energy and money through participation in comprehensive RCx studies. These studies aim to uncover valuable recommendations for improving building systems efficiency.

In addition to his role at AES Indiana, Bryan Kinch is an EcoDistricts Accredited Professional (AP) who is deeply committed to promoting community development that prioritizes equity, resilience, and climate protection in all decision-making processes.

Bryan has an educational background in engineering, having completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Renewable and Clean Energy, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Dayton. His academic foundation equips him with the knowledge and skills needed to drive sustainable and energy-efficient solutions.

Throughout his career, Bryan Kinch has held various roles, including Engineer in the Building Optimization Practice at Heapy Engineering, Sustainability and Energy Services Co-op at Heapy Engineering, Communications Coach at the Office of Academic Services for Student Athletes at the University of Dayton, and Operations Co-op at Messer Construction Co. He leverages this diverse experience to ensure that his projects are socially responsible, environmentally sustainable, energy-efficient, and financially viable.
