Bukky Shonibare is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse set of roles and expertise. She is known as the Founder of Girl Child Africa, CEO of SheTV, Coordinator of Adopt-A-Camp, #ChurchToo movement, and CEO of 555 Consulting Limited. Her focus lies in being a peace and security expert and a human rights advocate with a special emphasis on the welfare of women and girls. Bukky possesses an impressive educational background, holding a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree and a B.Sc in Business Administration, both achieved with First Class honors. She also pursued a Master's degree in Managing Peace and Security in Africa. Additionally, she has dual Certificates in Journalism and Creative Writing from the London School of Journalism, as well as dual Certificates in Social Sector Management and Entrepreneurial Management from Pan Atlantic University, Nigeria. Bukky has received several accolades for her impactful work, such as being named a 'Nigerian Star' by the US Embassy in Nigeria and recognized as one of Quartz Africa’s Innovators at the World Economic Forum. She was awarded Glazia’s Person of the Year in the Philanthropy and Advocacy category and honored as one of the 100 Most Inspiring Women in Nigeria. Notably, she is a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow, a prestigious program initiated by the United States government.
