Assistant Professor of Biblical and Religious Studies

C. Rebecca Rine is an accomplished academic with a diverse educational background in English, Linguistics, Spanish, Music, and Religious Studies.

She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia, a Master of Arts in English with a specialization in Applied Linguistics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a double major in Spanish and Music from Campbell University.

Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor of Biblical and Religious Studies at Grove City College, bringing her expertise to the field of academia.

Her previous roles include being a Visiting Scholar at the Center for the Study of Early Christianity at The Catholic University of America, an Adjunct Professor of Religion at George Mason University, and a Doctoral Candidate in Religious Studies at the University of Virginia.

Additionally, she has experience as a Research and Writing Specialist at Covenant Theological Seminary, showcasing her diverse skill set and commitment to academic excellence.
