Highlights
Really enjoying the JP Morgan Healthcare conference today. Never more frenzied—and what a delight to be so connected with so many colleagues and old pals. Wait, that was last year.
Eight years ago, I formed Carabiner with the goal of helping clients maximize shareholder value—or the social purpose for which they were formed—or both.
Over the years, we have worked with a fantastic array of corporate and non-profit enterprises in healthcare, education, sustainability, and inclusive financial services, in the US and abroad.
Today, I am very excited to announce that Carabiner has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Prager & Company, a leading independent investment banking firm focused on the higher education and not-for-profit sectors. With offices in San Francisco and New York, Prager provides strategic and financial advisory services and structures and underwrites new issue securities offerings.
We have come together to extend Prager’s current market position and to extend its footprint in new industries central to Carabiner’s work.
I am very excited about having a vastly enlarged platform to serve clients that are positioned to prosper—while making a difference.
For now, I would like to extend our thanks to all of our clients for the opportunity to work together over the years, and to North Private Securities Capital for our partnership. I will always be grateful for what we accomplished together.
