Caelin Briggs is a dedicated humanitarian professional with a focus on enhancing protection and emergency aid for internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, and communities affected by conflict.

With extensive experience spanning across more than a dozen countries in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and the Caribbean, Caelin has honed expertise in addressing the needs of vulnerable populations in complex humanitarian settings.

Education-wise, Caelin Briggs pursued a Master's degree in Development and Emergency Practice from Oxford Brookes University, a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies from California State University - Monterey Bay, and studied International Affairs at The George Washington University.

Notably, Caelin Briggs has held key roles in various reputable organizations, including serving in stakeholder engagement and coordination for the UNSG's High-Level Panel on Internal Displacement at the United Nations.

Prior to that, Caelin worked as a Senior Policy Advisor focusing on conflict and displacement at WVA and as a Consultant specializing in protection and representation with the Norwegian Refugee Council.

Caelin also held the position of Emergency Senior Protection Manager in Mosul with the International Rescue Committee, conducted research as a Protection Research Consultant at the Norwegian Refugee Council, and co-coordinated the Protection Cluster in South Sudan.

Additional past roles include serving as a Humanitarian Policy and Protection Advisor, advocating for Central Africa with Refugees International, and working as a Refugee Caseworker at the Resettlement Support Center.

Furthermore, Caelin Briggs has engaged in various short-term deployments with different organizations, showcasing a versatile skill set and a commitment to supporting humanitarian causes globally.
