Last week marked the end of my time at Housewright Gallery after almost a year and a half. Thank you to everyone at Housewright and Hoedemaker Pfeiffer for welcoming me into the fold. It was a privilege to be surrounded by beauty and history every day, to work with amazing clients both near and far, and to help increase the national visibility of this incredible interior design resource here in Georgetown.
For any Seattleites who haven't been, I highly recommend a visit. From mid-century Northwest paintings to vintage furnishings to locally sewn textiles and handmade ceramics, there's always something new to see. I know I'll be back often!
And if you know me, you've heard my frequent plea: as much as you can, shop local. Keep revisiting the local places in your neighborhood and your city. These brick and mortar shops are what make it interesting, and unique, and vibrant. When you’re online, choose to shop small vendors where real people are making or curating things with care. Waiting a few extra days for shipping is worth it, I promise!
