Cal McNeil is a seasoned professional in the fashion industry with a strong background in supply chain management, manufacturing, and material innovation.

McNeil currently holds a prominent position at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), where he oversees various programs such as the Fashion Manufacturing Initiative (FMI) and the Materials Hub aimed at empowering American fashion designers globally.

Prior to his current role, McNeil excelled in managing corporate partnerships for CFDA, collaborating with industry leaders to develop tailored programs in support of the organization's mission and designer network.

With prior experience at brands like Altuzarra and Sang A, as well as contributions to Style.com, now known as Vogue Runway, McNeil has acquired a diverse skill set crucial for navigating the fashion landscape effectively.

Apart from his professional commitments, McNeil actively contributes to the fashion community by serving on the Board of Directors for the Industrial Sewing and Innovation Center (ISAIC) and the Fashion Design BFA Advisory Board at the College for Creative Studies.

Additionally, McNeil has lent his expertise to the Museum of the City of New York for special fashion exhibitions and possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Convergent Media from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
