Anyone interested in partnering with Charlotte Whitmore, La Pointe Foundation and I to fund job training for young adults in Haiti? It takes $40 to fund the 10 month program for one student. That's $40 to enable someone to be able to start making a basic living. There are hundreds of young people waiting who don't have the $40 needed to sign up.

We are working to shift the program to being self-sustaining, so I'm looking for people who will partner to create a "pay it forward" model where, rather than asking for students to pay up front, we cover their initial $40 cost and ask them to pay the $40 after they graduate and get a job, starting the engine for future graduates without creating dependency on forever outside funding.

Dear Friends and Family,

Charlotte and I have had the great privilege of being connected with and hosting a wonderful Ukrainian Family! Nata and her 13-year-old son, Yegor, are amazing people who unfortunately sustained significant losses during the war. Their home was bombed as well as Nata’s business.

Nata is an entrepreneur, so we feel a particular loss for her as we can’t imagine losing our home and our livelihood in such a short time.

Nata and Yegor successfully immigrated to the US this July and relocated into our home as they got settled into the country life and Yegor started school.  We are committed to providing housing for a year, and a fantastic apartment, right around the corner, has been found and now it's time for the next step: furnishing it!

As you can imagine, Nata and Yegor lost everything in the bombing and started over from scratch. We have created an Amazon Registry with what we think are essential items to create a home.

I know many of you don’t know Nata and Yegor, but if you have wanted to help in Ukrainian relief - this is an opportunity to directly support and truly love-on a family who are starting over after losing everything.

Moving is hard. Moving countries after losing everything is even harder. If you are willing to donate, this will help tremendously in the many months to come as Nata and Yegor continue to get settled, rebuild their lives, and incur the many new expenses that are certain to arise.

Thank you for considering being part of the team!

Thank you so much, friends and family!
