She gained recognition for her work as the co-creator and executive producer of the unreleased show 'Talking to Strangers with Hannibal Buress.' Despite the show not airing, Cali found empowerment in the experience and has since remained a sought-after professional in the entertainment industry.

Cali is currently known for her podcast 'sub·ver·sive,' which challenges conventional ideas around money and power. She has also curated events celebrating Black creatives, produced digital events for renowned institutions like the Apollo Theater, and worked on social justice initiatives alongside influential figures like Tarana Burke, Ryan Coogler, and Ava DuVernay.

Her impact extends to academia, having served as an adjunct professor at prestigious institutions like NYU. Cali is also recognized for her proactive advocacy for mental health and social justice causes.

To further expand her creative endeavors, Cali is currently involved in multiple writing projects, including her upcoming book '45,' which promises to capture her personal and sociopolitical journey over five years.
