Cameron Newton

Dr. Cameron Newton is an accomplished professional with a background in banking, finance, and organizational psychology.

He holds a PhD in Organisational Psychology from The University of Queensland, specializing in organizational culture, work stressors, and employee well-being.

Dr. Newton is a registered psychologist and a supervisor for the Australian Board of Psychologists with expertise in work stress intervention and biofeedback.

His research has secured over $5M in funding from various grants and commercial contracts, including Australian Research Council Grants.

In 2019, Dr. Newton assumed the role of Head of School at the School of Management at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), later progressing to become the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law at QUT in 2023.

He has published extensively on topics related to organizational culture, stress management, employee motivation, and volunteer retention.

Dr. Newton's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts (Hons 1) in Psychology, a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, and a PhD in Organisational Psychology.

Throughout his career, he has held prominent positions at QUT, such as Professor of Organisational Behaviour and HR Management, Associate Professor, and Senior Lecturer in Management.

Dr. Newton's expertise and contributions to the field of organizational psychology are evident through his numerous publications and leadership roles within academic institutions.
