Carl Moses

Dr. Carl Moses is an accomplished academic and administrator with a strong background in aqueous geochemistry, climatology, and environmental science. He holds a MS and PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia and an AB in Chemistry from Princeton University.

With specialties in geochemistry, particularly in low temperature and aqueous environments, Dr. Moses has focused his research on the surface chemistry of minerals and molecular interactions between minerals and aqueous solutions.

In his academic journey, Dr. Moses has served in various roles including Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Provost and Dean of the Faculty, Deputy Provost, and Associate Dean at institutions like Susquehanna University and Lehigh University. He has expertise in academic program development, administration, institutional accreditation, and enrollment management.

Dr. Moses currently holds the position of Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Grand View University, where he continues to contribute to the fields of geochemistry, environmental science, and higher education administration.
