Thank you to our dear friends and partners at Catalest for inviting me and my daughter, Sofia Briceno, to participate in an HCD workshop with the National Military Family Association.

The workshop brought together the public and private sector communities to use the HCD process to co-create solutions related to military spouse unemployment (a vexing and complicated systemic challenge for military families).

Catalyst takes a very cool approach to organizing these focused workshops, which address particularly vexing issues while providing a wonderful opportunity for participants to gain hands-on experience in Human Centered Design.

And it was a blast to meet new friends - Cristina P., Remy Reya, Patrick Bergquist, MA MPA - in the process!
