Carlo Lamagna is a seasoned educator, arts manager, and historian specializing in modern and contemporary art and material culture.

With a rich background, Carlo has been actively involved in leading study abroad programs on cultural institution management in the Netherlands, Paris, and Berlin since 1994, as well as programs on art exhibition and display in London starting from 2007.

He serves as the Academic Co-director for the International Leadership Program in Visual Arts Management, a distinguished collaboration between NYU Steinhardt, the Deusto Business School at the University of Deusto in Bilbao, and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.

Carlo Lamagna's expertise spans various crucial areas within the art and culture sector, including curatorial approaches, museum collection reinterpretation, audience engagement strategies, arts advocacy, cultural policy, and global issues in the visual arts.

His experience encompasses historic preservation, cultural heritage, and he is currently dedicated to a new project-centered endeavor centered around his broad expertise.

Having previously held a position as a Professor at New York University, Carlo Lamagna remains actively engaged in the field, offering consultancy services on international arts management programs.
