Carlos Miranda is a purpose-driven entrepreneur with a passion for creating businesses that empower both for-profit and non-profit organizations to achieve their social impact goals.

With a background in Global History from the London School of Economics and Anthropology from New York University, Carlos founded I.G. Advisors in 2011, a renowned strategy consultancy supporting social and environmental change.

Recognized globally, I.G. Advisors has partnered with a diverse clientele including prominent entities like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, UN Women, and Amnesty International, offering strategic guidance on social impact initiatives.

Noticing the digital gap between for-profit and non-profit sectors, Carlos established Social Misfits Media in 2012, a digital agency focusing on crafting impactful social media strategies for purpose-driven organizations.

In 2014, Carlos co-founded Lightful, a technology company dedicated to providing practical digital tools and support to organizations with a philanthropic focus, facilitating millions in charitable contributions globally.

All of Carlos's ventures, including I.G. Advisors, Social Misfits Media, Freuds, and Lightful, are proud B Corps, emphasizing their commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

Outside of his entrepreneurial endeavors, Carlos has contributed to various non-profit boards, including Futuro Media Group, an ethical journalism organization headquartered in New York.

His academic background, combined with his hands-on experience in bridging the digital divide and enhancing technological capabilities for non-profits, showcases Carlos's expertise in driving purposeful business solutions.

As a native Spanish speaker, Carlos is also known for his love of ramen, coffee, and sci-fi, balancing his entrepreneurial spirit with personal interests while embracing the role of a dedicated parent to twins.
